Here I added some texture to the original environment, using a combination of 4 different rock textures, and then added a sand texture for the ground level. Later, I wanted to change the colour of the water from green to blue, so I painted the terrain below the water a "sky" texture in order to get this affect, and then later found an "underwater" texture to use as well. It was interesting to experiment with these different techniques.


This was the first attempt at creating an environment like the Twelve Apostles. Here I only used the Terrain editor in Sandbox2 to create the "rocks", but this did not have the effect I wanted as the rocks away from the shore were too smooth.
